OTTAWA, CANADA (Worthy News) – A new report suggests a surprising shift may be underway in Canada, where younger adults are showing stronger signs of religious interest than many expected after decades of national secular decline.
According to reporting by The Epoch Times, younger Canadians are increasingly open to faith, with some pastors, researchers, and observers pointing to renewed interest among young adults—particularly young men—in traditional Christianity. The trend follows years in which Canada’s public life and institutions moved steadily away from religious identity and practice.
The findings align with research from Cardus and the Canadian Bible Society, which found that young adults in Canada are attending religious services at comparable or higher rates than older age groups. The report did not claim a full-scale revival, but it did suggest that the long decline in religious practice may be slowing or even leveling off among younger Canadians.
